ATIANA Vision — privacy
This public demo processes your camera on your own device. No frame, image, video or detection result is sent anywhere.
Camera
- The camera is never turned on automatically. It starts only when you press Start Camera and grant your browser's permission prompt.
- While it is on, the header shows CAMERA ON and a Stop Camera button. Stopping releases the device immediately; your browser's own camera indicator turns off too.
- Switching input, closing the tab or navigating away also stops the camera.
Processing
- Object detection (EfficientDet-Lite0), hand landmarks and face detection run in your browser with MediaPipe (WebAssembly). The models and runtime are downloaded from this site; inference happens locally.
- The site's Content-Security-Policy restricts network connections to this site's own origin, so the page cannot upload frames to a third party.
- Nothing is recorded. Frames are not stored, not written to browser storage and not uploaded. Video files you choose are opened in this tab only.
Faces
- Face detection draws a box around a face region. That is all.
- There is no face recognition, no identity, no face database and no embedding. Age, gender, emotion, ethnicity and other personal characteristics are not inferred.
- Region labels such as
face-1are temporary tracker numbers that reset whenever tracking is lost.
Retention
- Current results exist only in this tab's memory. The event list keeps the last 60 seconds. Clear session data erases it immediately; closing the tab erases everything.
- No analytics, cookies or trackers are used by this demo.
Accuracy
- Detections are model scores, not facts. Low-confidence results are labelled as uncertain.
- Spatial relations (“appears to be on the table”) are estimated from the 2-D image. Distances are rough, size-based estimates with a range, not measurements.
Third-party components
The on-device runtime and models are by Google (MediaPipe), used unmodified under the Apache License 2.0. See the third-party notices and the licence text.
